A nice story to read... the ending could be a little more developed, cause as usually the plot is good but it ends all of a sudden...

Maybe I was reading a different book than everyone else, but this wasn't a second chance romance, when there was no romance to begin with. No character development, no plot.
****SPOILERS****

First, this book could have benefitted from better editing. There were many, many places where words were simply missing and you had to fill them in to make the sentence work. Chapter 15 and 16 were the exact same chapter, so I don't know if it was just inserted twice by mistake or if there is an actual chapter 16 that I didn't get to read. I'm leaning towards that answer as some of the dialogue in the epilogue suggests I missed something.

Now, I love an alpha male. And many times, they are written as complete d*cks at the beginning of a story. The only way that works is if they are redeemed at the end of the story. That was definitely NOT the case here. Calvin Woods was narcissistic a-hole who only thought of what he wanted. He totally forced the situation with the h and when she wouldn't do what he wanted, he turned the whole school against her. He paraded other women around her constantly. He continued his partying/manwhore ways after leaving school for two years after suspecting he knocked the h up. Then shows up out of the blue, says "Hey, I've changed. I want you now." And that's it! No, hashing out of the sh*tty treatment, no showing proof that he's changed, because he was still whoring around. There was no redemption there.

This story would have been better if their previous relationship had been shown through flashbacks and then focusing more on him actually changing and deserving an HEA.
The story is very interesting and the book is very well written. Harper is the trainer and Calvin is being trained by Harper. The characters were really well described and the story contains a lot of details. Their personalities are very different and the book has good twists, they have a lot of chemistry together and I couldn’t stop reading it. Harper resisted a lot to Calvin’s charm, but in the end, the book has a good end. I recommend it.
I love reading romance novels, it was no less. Amazing read, the flow of the stroy the description of the characters captivated me to the story. Recommended book
It was a decent idea, but I kept getting distracted by all the typos. The sex scene came a little too close to rape for me and the ending was just too abrupt. It read more like a first draft than a finished book.
I do not like such stories, but bought for my wife. She is delighted with this book. She handed me to ask the author to ask when the new book.
